What is your favorite type of art to create?

It is a toss up between colored pencil portraiture and photography. Colored pencil work challenges me to create pieces that are as photo realistic as I can, constantly seeking to level up my talent. Photography is about capturing the perfect moment in time. I always seek to continue learning and improving.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in music, the work of other artists, nature and everyday life. One of my favorite types of photography is concert photography, which combines my love of music with capturing soulful moments of the artist on stage.

What would you do with $25,000?

I am disabled with a rare, painful kidney disease called Loin Pain Hematuria Syndrome (LPHS). I live with my mom and we both have a lot of medical bills as well as other household bills. It would make me feel good to be able to help relieve some of that burden and worry.
