I create art because the ancestors did. They saw what was going on in their lives and worked to share that knowledge to help others grow.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is something that helps me to better understand the mysteries of life. Since my awakening in 2021. I’ve been creating more art that helps me vent my own human emotions and personal struggles. I have noticed while reading books that our ancestors have shared similar experiences in different time periods. So it only feels natural to help the dead and the living to have a voice. That can resonate and educate us and future generations.
Where do you find inspiration? For my inspiration I typically read a variety of different books left by our ancestors. Then see what every day societal signs/commonalities I can layer on top of each other to help each generation have a better chance at navigating their own lives. Especially with the use of children’s books since these were some of the very things that helped us in the beginning of our lives.
What would you do with $25,000?With the $25,000 I would like to develop my business further so that I could employ a team of artists to create their own stories through animation. Then once a stable foundation has been established. I would like to pay it forward to the dreamers who dare to improve life for their fellows by offering a hand up through mentorship and paid internships. Since it is the belief and love in one another that can help each person shine.
