I love to tell stories, so I try to incorporate that in everything I do. Whether through my graphic novel series, Jaydi’s Story, The children’s books project I work or single painting and illustrations, story is always at the heart.
Where do you find inspiration?Everywhere. Nature, film, museums, talking to people.. I’m always looking for ways to interpret life in a way that’s not often seen.
What would you do with $25,000?The last several years have been incredibly financially challenging. My husband, college-age son and I have been sharing a small one bedroom apartment. I’d love the opportunity to provide a more comfortable apartment for us as well as have start up funding for me to teach workshops for artists in my area.
