There's nothing like shaping something from a lump of clay into an object that brings warmth and light into someone's home

I sculpt wall candle holders out of clay shaped like cute, friendly bats! I love the whole process: wedging the clay, shaping every little wing and ear by hand, and seeing it transform after firing. It's tactile, meditative, and the end result actually holds a candle and lights up a room
Where do you find inspiration?I'm drawn to creatures that carry a certain quiet magic, bats especially. They're misunderstood, but I see them as gentle and fascinating. I find inspiration in cozy interiors, candlelight, and the idea of making something handmade that brings a smile instead of a scare.
What would you do with $25,000?The first thing I'd invest in is a larger kiln for my studio. Right now my capacity limits how many bat candle holders I can produce, and there's a real demand out there for them. With a bigger kiln I could fire more pieces at once, grow my small business, and bring these little clay bats into more homes. Handmade art should be accessible to everyone who wants it, and this would help me make that happen
