My favorite type of medium is water color and oil paint. I also like to create mixed media pieces by adding either newspaper, plaster, charcoal, pen and other materials throughout my work.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration from my childhood memories by creating pieces that feel nostalgic and comforting. I also find inspiration in nature especially flowers. My art teacher Mrs. Herring is also a big inspiration to me when it comes to my work. She has taught me so many things over my time in highschool and she has pushed me to be the best I could be.
What would you do with $25,000?I am going to college in the fall to become a teacher and winning this money would be a huge help to me. My mom does her best but as a single parent it’s not always easy and winning this money would really relieve some of the burden off her.
