Creating has always been my strongest inclination. Form & inspiration evolve, but the essence remains.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is traditional motifs, but with my own twist that arrives somewhere modern and unseen. This includes collage-like compositions, bold and sometimes contradictory color palettes, and pieces that take the eye on a journey.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in music. My different collections and breadth of work have distinct tones. This comes from lyrical inspiration, as well as the personal connection I derive as I spend time with certain artists, albums, and songs.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000, wow! With this prize, I see myself in my own art studio, which has always been a dream, an environment completely dedicated to my craft, somewhere for the energy I create in my work to compound and flow without halt. And, probably the big tubes of fancy paint, ones I typically only allow myself the small tester versions of, haha!
