My favorite type of art to create is prints. Through the technique of linoleum printmaking. I feel like the medium is therapy in a way. Each carve you make can express a different emotion in both the piece and in yourself. Which is what brings me joy and inspiration while making art.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere, everyday. I feel like waking up in the morning alive and free is inspiration in itself. I create things from memories or moments in my own life. I would say that to be inspired you have to be willing, willing to experience new things, places, and people. That is what brings me inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?If I won $25,000 I would put it towards getting all the things I need to set up my own print studio. So I could continue to make art and do the things I enjoy most everyday. With the rest of the money I would invest it into savings so I can save up some more money and pay off my student loan debt.
