I create art to turn emotions into something people can see, feel, and heal from. My work is where imagination and truth meet.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is bold, nostalgic cartoon-style paintings that use vibrant color and strong linework to tell emotional stories. I love creating pieces that reconnect people to their childhood while also giving them a sense of peace, reflection, and healing through the experience.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday emotions, personal experiences, and the stories people trust me enough to share. I’m especially inspired by mental health, identity, and the complexity of human thoughts. Visually, I pull from the late 90s and early 2000s cartoons, nostalgia, and bold, expressive styles that remind people of their childhood while creating space for reflection and healing.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would scale Layered Minds by hosting more art-based workshops for youth, purchasing supplies, and securing accessible community spaces. I’d invest in branding and digital tools to grow visibility, while also creating paid opportunities for local artists. This funding would help expand access to creative, healing-centered experiences.
