I paint to capture fleeting emotions—turning memory, beauty, and human connection into something that can live forever.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I create oil paintings with gold leaf that merge hyperrealism with raw, abstract energy. My work lives in contrast—softness and strength, beauty and fracture. I’m drawn to the tension between control and chaos, using texture, metallic elements, and the human form to capture something both intimate and untouchable.
Where do you find inspiration?Inspiration finds me in fleeting, cinematic moments—films, music, a single word, or an emotion that lingers longer than it should. I’m drawn to intensity, to what’s felt but not always spoken. My work becomes a translation of those moments—like preserving a memory just before it fades.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest in creating a dedicated studio space to fully immerse myself in my work—whether building a home studio or renting one. It would allow me to scale my pieces, experiment more freely, and evolve my practice. As a mother, it would also give me the ability to invest in childcare for a few hours at a time, creating uninterrupted space to focus deeply and consistently on my art.
