Representational art that mirrors the ambiguity of physical world we observe and interact with. Painting plays with this illusion of what we see in the material world through symbolic, abstract, and nonsensical engagements.
Where do you find inspiration?Film, urban New York nature and other visual artists. Stills from tv shows and movies inspire my conceptualization of visual symbolism while finding meaning in the everyday industrial/natural cacophony of living in a human body existing in an evolving urban city matrix. Through the visual cues of connection and proximity that exist within the city life I find value and meaning in art and its community.
What would you do with $25,000?Id use it to pursue my artistic career while being able to create and teach in my community.
