My favorite art pieces to create are colorful acrylic paintings/ mixed media pieces with imagery of people, anatomy, and bones. I love to incorporate elements of nature with dramatic light, line, or composition to create feeling.

Art has always been how I make sense of the world, so my inspiration is derived from my love of symbolism, anatomy, nature and the quiet stories we carry — figures emerging from forests, anatomical studies layered on rich color, and portraits and nature rendered in line and color. I'm drawn to pieces that feel alive with meaning, where a single image holds an entire emotional landscapes. My inspiration comes from story and experience; memory and feeling.
