I’m inspired by other great artists, artwork in books, and the stories created. I realized I could rely on my art to get through tough times
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Every time I think I found my favourite type of art to create, I find myself motivated to learn more types. At the moment, I am interested to create subjects that are cute. I was able to sew an adorable fabric doll early in the year. With that finished, I am using computer graphics to create a cute 3D character that can be animated. Another project on the way is a painting using watercolour. Basically, I enjoy portrait or character art but I am open to explore ie. abstract art using acrylics
Where do you find inspiration?Early inspiration comes from manga and fashion. The manga drawings are so well drawn and the stories keep me entertained which compels me to draw similarly. Other great artists with their wonderful works of art are also inspiring. Models, actors and actresses are a great inspiration as people in general are naturally drawn to human interactions, emotions, strengths, and weaknesses.
What would you do with $25,000?I would probably put it into a savings account for a while before I actually start to use it because it is a very special award. If I use it, it will be for the purpose of supporting other new artists and purchasing art materials. I want other artists to feel the value of their artworks too.
