I’ll paint antique items and furniture with a color scheme in mind and then go through each piece with metallics or a color that makes it pop creating a beautiful and unique piece of art. My other art is through my photography. I like to tell a story with my images. This involves gathering props, finding costumes, makeup, and shooting on location.
Where do you find inspiration?Anything strange, dark and mysterious, i.e. old gothic churches, cemeteries, Halloween, ghosts, folklore, gods and goddesses of all religions,, the medieval ages and so much more. I love using dark colors mixed with contrasting highlights on the piece.
What would you do with $25,000?I know EXACTLY what I’d do with it—the money would be spent to ship my household goods and vehicle. While the rest would cover plane tickets for my pets, my kids and myself on a one way ticket to Europe. I know it wouldn’t be enough to buy a home there, so I’ll have to finance that part. The part of getting us there is the problem. So, if I win…I couldn’t even imagine, I can’t imagine it…it’s a pipe dream.
