I make art to alchemize what I’ve lived into something that blooms instead of breaks.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite art to create is the kind that transforms lived experience into something meaningful. Whether I’m writing or crafting imagery, I’m drawn to work that blends emotion, symbolism, and personal evolution into a story people can feel.
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in the spaces where emotion, memory, and imagination intersect. My work is fueled by lived experience. The beautiful parts, the painful parts, and the parts that don’t have language yet. I’m drawn to the moments that shape us quietly, the symbolism hidden in ordinary life, and the way transformation feels from the inside out. I create from the tension between what we survive and who we become.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use $25,000 to secure a down payment on a home. I’ve never had that kind of stability, and creating a safe, grounded space would give me the freedom to grow, write, and build the life I’ve fought for.
