My sister in law created this piece for my husband's birthday. She was homeless and trying to get clean. We brought her to live with us.

I love all art and although my sister inlaw entered me in this contest it is my brother's work that I will be displaying as a memorial to his life.he was extremely talented and I wish he was here today to see this because he had real talent.his life was cut short because of gang violence.he was shot in the head in 2025.he was asked to do a mural at one of the prisons he frequented.Aaron Dafler was his name
Where do you find inspiration? My children and wanting to see a more beautiful planet.my son dylan sent me to alaska with my brother to get clean from meth.ive been clean since dec.17th 2025.my daughter ravyn helps remind me that I am the greatest mother she could ever had asked for even when I was not sober.
What would you do with $25,000?I have been homeless for 12 years.have had many tragedies but the biggest one was when 12,000 dollars went missing from my bank account.i was gonna use that money to buy a peice of property so my family would never have to experience homeless ness.if they needed it their would always be a home for them.so I would buy a peice of property with 25,000.and maybe take my kids on a vacation.they both graduated high school my daughter's in college and they make me so proud.they are my gifts.
