What is your favorite type of art to create?

I’m particularly drawn to creating portraits of women. While I’m not entirely sure where that focus originated, I’ve developed a body of work that explores women in many forms ranging from realistic human figures to more symbolic, goddess-like representations.

Where do you find inspiration?

I typically begin with a foundational sketch usually the head and body and allow the piece to evolve from there. This process gives me the freedom to explore and shape the direction of the work eventually as it develops.

What would you do with $25,000?

I would use a portion to take care of essential responsibilities, and then invest meaningfully into advancing my art career whether through materials, education, or opportunities to use my work more widely. It’s also important to me to give back, so I would set aside a portion to support someone in need.
