Digital art and oil paintings are my favorite types of art to create, but I go by mood and inspiration; often veer towards many other mediums. I am classically trained in all art mediums except glass. Often I choose unfamiliar mediums simply experience them. My current portfolio boasts oil, digital, photography, marker, watercolor, mixed media, and oil pastel pieces.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from moods, from emotions, from music. Strongly from music, as music is used for mood and induced emotions. I enjoy interpreting the emotions I conceive while listening to music and I create visuals of that in my mind, which I then interpret through artistic media. If it can invoke an emotional response, I can create a visual for that sensation and that is my inspiration.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would, as a person of lesser means, buy a home. A permanent home with an art studio for me to create for the rest of my life. To create and continue to contribute to the artistic community. Possibly enough space to share with some fellow local artists to create also, and maybe teach what I know. That is how I would like to spend my life, and this opportunity would greatly help that dream.
