I love to create art that provokes feelings of self-worth, peace among people, and unity. Some of my favorite pieces of art are those that reflect positive body image. My goal is to create art pieces that will resonate with people from any part of the world. The biggest gift would be a young girl, staring a painting and saying “Mommy, she looks like me. She’s beautiful.”
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration through my constant thirst to explore different cultures. To learn as much as I can about how differently we all can live, while still desiring the same things out of life. Happiness. Health. Love. It is my solid belief that it can only be through an open heart and a willingness to learn and accept that we can someday achieve peace among all people.
What would you do with $25,000?If I should somehow miraculously win this competition, I would use the prize money to elevate my ability to produce art and to build my brand in hopes of having my art reach as many people in need as possible. I simply want to share my visions with everyone around me. To hopefully inspire a sense of inclusivity and pride in whoever it reaches.
