I create art to capture the shift between holding on and letting go. Turning transformation into something you don’t just see, but feel.

My favorite art to create is abstract portraits that explore transformation of our internal states. I'm drawn to the space between control and surrender. In this space we have the power to shift our identity and beliefs. Using bold color and texture, I aim to create pieces that aren't just seen but felt. I create work that holds presence and invites reflection. I intend on continuing to creating work that resonates beyond the surface for the viewer.
Where do you find inspiration?I started create during a time in my life where I felt disconnected from who I was. Art became a way to process that shift. That experience still drives my work today, exploring identity and transformation as I'm always learning and growing. I find inspiration in moments that challenge how I see myself, using painting as a way to translate those internal shifts into something visual and real.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest the $25,000 into expanding my art practice and increasing the scale and impact of my work. This includes securing a art business coach, producing larger pieces and improving documentation though high quality photo and video. I would also invest in creating immersive experiences like live painting events that brings people closer of all skill levels. The goal is to build a sustainable full time career while elevating both the work and how it's experienced.
