I love creating art as it lets me express emotions beyond words, find peace, and connect with others through meaningful creativity.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite type of art to create is abstract art because it allows me to express emotions, energy, and thoughts without limits. I enjoy using colors, textures, and movement to create pieces that feel personal yet open to interpretation. Abstract art gives me the freedom to turn simple ideas and emotions into something visually powerful and unique. For me, art is not just about what people see, but what they feel when they connect with it.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday life emotions, human connections, nature, music, and the energy of different environments. Even simple moments, like changing weather in Toronto, city lights at night, or a meaningful conversation, can spark an idea. I’m inspired by feelings that are difficult to put into words, and abstract art allows me to translate those emotions into color, texture, and movement. For me, inspiration comes from observing life deeply and turning those experiences into visuals.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would first donate a portion to SickKids to support children and families going through difficult times, because I believe success should also create a positive impact for others. With the remaining amount, I would invest in building my artistic journey by working toward owning an art studio where I can create and showcase my work. Having my own studio would allow me to express my creativity freely, connect with a wider audience.
