I’m a fire artist- hot glass, cast bronze. I create and collect and combine. My sculptures are an expression of fantastical geology, stratigraphy, and phenomena.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in earth science and the unseen dimensions. Growing and foraging foods and being in (and out of) the dreamtime. All the moments of harmony and awareness in the story of becoming- while existing in our multi layered, natural world.
What would you do with $25,000?With this prize I would fund the building of my ‘combination hot-glass and bronze furnace’ I fully designed and drafted in a kiln building class last year, on my small farm! Being able to work hot from home would be an amazing catalyst for the deep connection I cherish between the earth, and the work I create.
