Art is many different things for me: expression, creation, and even therapy. My goal is the feeling of connection.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I'm an Independent Mixed Media Artist from South Florida who's been in the art scene and surrounded by artists and creative people my whole life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in all mediums: the love of color, texture, pattern, movement and design. I am inspired by the dialogue between the seen and the felt. For me, the creative process is not about replication, but about capturing the residue of an experience. I seek to translate the intangible—memory, nostalgia, and silence—into a visual language that invites the viewer to pause and find their own reflection within the frame.
What would you do with $25,000?Looking ahead, my vision is one of both personal expansion and ancestral preservation. While I plan to renovate my studio to explore new mediums and push the boundaries of my practice, my heart remains rooted in Northern Minnesota. I am dedicated to completing the restoration of our family business, The Old Schoolhouse in Bemidji, following devastating storm damage. For over 50 years, this historic brick schoolhouse has served as a vital sanctuary for the creative community.
