Currently I’m enjoying acrylic painting in my unique abstract style. I also love woodblock carving & printing, and ink painting and painting murals on walls.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature and human’s interaction with her. I look for patterns and observe correlations between the micro and the macro. I feel connected to source while in a flow state at times during creation that it feels like channeling a message from the unknown.
What would you do with $25,000?I would continue to nourish my artistic practice here in downtown Santa Ana, SoCal by funding my space and supplies. I would offer more open hours in my studio/gallery space and workshops. I would take more chances with traveling out of my area to seek out walls for murals. It would help me remain a good support piece for my family too.
