I create still life paintings in watercolors to celebrate regenerative and local farming, bringing light to things we often overlook.

Honestly, anything I can get my hands on. I love learning new things and teaching others what I know about art. Right now, I’m enjoying the process of painting with watercolors, but I also really like using oils, acrylics and pastels.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere, but mostly in nature. I love visiting local farms and seeing what they’ve grown. I’m amazed by people that can grow food for their community, it takes true observation to grow things, and I appreciate that. I also enjoy connecting with other artists and talking about their process, it inspires me to keep going and pursuing my own work.
What would you do with $25,000?I would most likely buy a utility van. I know it’s not the most exciting thing, but it’s equipment that I can use to further my career. After teaching art for quite a few years, I decided to pursue selling my own work at art festivals. I have been traveling across the country and I borrow my husband’s truck to fit all of my equipment and art inside, but it barely fits. I would like to work larger, but I have no way to transport larger pieces
