I create art to give voice to animals, sharing their stories and spreading color and empathy into the world.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
the type of art I enjoy creating the most is focused on animals. I’ve always been a very empathetic person, and I feel that through my paintings I can help bring awareness and the respect they deserve. I primarily work with acrylic on canvas, although I also explore mixed media in some pieces, combining different materials. I really enjoy working with texture, as it gives the artwork more life and depth.
Where do you find inspiration?I really enjoy drawing inspiration from nature. I love being outdoors and spending time in places surrounded by animals. I also find inspiration in my country, in its colors, and in the rich fauna that exists there.
What would you do with $25,000?I have always donated part of my art sales to animal rescue nonprofits in Venezuela, as much as I can. These organizations receive no government support, so every contribution helps with food and care. I wish I could support them on a much larger scale to truly help them grow and continue saving lives. With $25,000, I would be able to significantly increase my support and help them continue their life-saving work.
