I create music that gently opens the listener’s subconscious, drawing out emotions and memories that shaped them. I aim to lower their guard—both to shock and soothe—so they can reflect on what modern life often suppresses. My goal is to slow time, invite introspection, and help them reconnect with their inner self. That’s why I love working with string ensembles—their raw, ancient resonance awakens something deeply human and liberating.

I find inspiration in nature—especially in the landscapes of Montenegro, where my roots are, on Mount Durmitor. The movement of wind through grass, grazing cows and sheep, the scent of mountain herbs and earth—these moments stay with me. The vastness of the mountains humbles me, fills me with quiet respect. Listening to the wind, insects, and trees, I feel compelled to write.

With $25,000, I would invest in recording music with an orchestra and soloists, blending a string ensemble with traditional Balkan instruments. I would place special focus on the gusle, played by my grandfather, and dedicate a composition to him as an homage to my roots. I would then perform this music in a concert on Durmitor, in the heart of the mountains—creating a dialogue between the orchestra and the surrounding nature that inspires me.
