I love to create art because it let me express who I am as a person.Making art also helps me with my struggles of ADHD by helping me focus.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
The type of art I love to create is Female Pop-Surrealism or female illustration. I love this style of art because it allows me to express myself in a unique way and shows who I am as an artist. The inspiration to this genre of art is from two artists named Camilla D Errico and Lord_Gris(from Instagram). I love the way these two artists create their artwork with beautiful colors & elements to make the artwork outstanding and special.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from social media or from Pinterest. I love seeing the creativity and outstanding artwork that many artists do. For example, the two artists that inspire me to start this creative art journey are Christina Lorre and Jacqulin de Leon. Their unique style of art shows a lot of expressionism in their pieces of work as well as showing the beauty and self-esteem of the characters they are drawing/painting.
What would you do with $25,000?If I win the $25,000, I would use it to invest into an apartment close to my parents’ house or save money to buy my own place to live. The reason is that it is hard to find a place to live that is not financially expensive, especially to find one that is close to my parents’ house. I have a brother who has high spectrum autism(non-verbal), so I want to make sure that I have a place/house close so that I can be there for him and as his secondary guardian to be there for his needs & necessities.
