I am a Heiltsuk artist but although I know how to create many traditional art forms ive chosen to expand and create art that helps those who are fighting addiction or life in general. Every art piece shares a powerful story of what has your experience in life taught you. "If you'll change on the inside... your outside follows"

I find inspiration when its quiet, I only paint in the evening when my kids sleep, the quiet stillness speaks to me, I was taught that when you are still the spirits move and if you listen with a prayerful attitude your brush will create the story the people need to hear. All meaningful and long-lasting change first starts on the inside and works its way out.

I am a single father with almost 25 years clean from Drugs and thank our creator my kids have never witnessed alcohol or Drugs in our home ever , and I would invest in my kids future by teaching them how to keep the arts alive, I tell each one of my kids my art will still be healing lives 300 years after my body has traveled to the Spirit World. My art has been the bridge that kept me alive in my early days in recovery. "If you dont live it... you dont believe it.
