Anything you lose time in is your superpower — indefatigable focus is the first sign: Art takes me to my good-place: andbowart.com.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
In my abstract-expressionism style of art, I emphasize the marginalized things in existence — highlighting them in graphic detail with what I call "Grabstraction," or such graphic-abstract works and series as "E Is for Empty," which depicts personhood as "E-People"; the "See Endangered Species" — a series to raise awareness about the plight of endangered plants animals; and my current "Multifarious Faces" series, as a means to deconstruct persona and singularness in blurred detail.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in marginalized things and their points of transit between where and here: focusing on journey as the destination.
What would you do with $25,000?Take several weeks to travel and paint. Journey to my core. Bring unique, positive-activist art into the world.
