My art explores the human condition through expressive realism, finding beauty and strength within our most complex emotional journeys.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
Simple answer, my art. I paint, I write, I create. I don't follow the idea that an artist needs a single style to become accomplished. Though my styles may marry similarities, there is always a need to change. A need to grow. The work gets on, with or without money. With or without applause or approval. So the art I make isn't a type or an easy a to z answer. It's the art that moves me while I am making it.Life is a masterpiece, and as artists we do our best to replicate it and beyond it.
Where do you find inspiration? In everything. This is the hardest question because as humans we repeat what have heard, seen, felt. A million things from the hr to day down to the minute pearcing through us. And we spundge that up. Who is to say what really inspires us. If I had to say it in direct terms currently my Muse. And Music, and life. That haunting romance with the wind.
What would you do with $25,000?Invest it. Try to make a better life for myself. I work a day job so art only gets a small window. I would set myself up to make more time for art and do what I truly love. To have some capital to put more time into my passion than driving a bus would be a blessing.
