When I didn’t have anything left I had art. I believe when we create we’re closest to the source. I hope to do it forever.

Receive Text UpdatesMy favorite kind of art to create is expressive, symbolic with personality and meaning. Work that feels bold, raw, and alive. It says something real. You hope someone can see themselves in your work. Celebrates our connections as human beings.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration everywhere. Life, personal growth, culture, and the stories people carry. Black history, bold self-expression, struggle, happiness, transformation. It all moves me. Also teaching my students and watching creativity spark in them. I’m drawn to ideas that say something and are equally pleasing to see. Finding inspiration tends to be a mirror to who I am, where I’ve been, and who I’m becoming.
What would you do with $25,000?Create stability and freedom. Invest in my art. Buy back some time and focus on what matters most. I’d help people I care about. I’d want to turn it into momentum for the next chapter of my life.
