My favorite type of art to create is abstract, florals and landscapes. I enjoy working with acrylics and experimenting with color, texture, and layers to create movement and atmosphere. I enjoy depicting landscapes because they allow me to capture mood and movement in a specific moment in time.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in nature through shifting light, and natural color palettes. I’m also inspired by emotion and movement, which influence my abstract work. I find beauty in natural settings such as flowers, sunsets, coastal scenery as well as everyday daily moments and scenes and translating them into abstract visuals.
What would you do with $25,000?I would donate a portion of the funds to organizations that support sick children and provide art programs for healing. I believe art can bring comfort and hope to children facing illness, and supporting programs that combine healthcare and creativity as a means towards healing and creating expression.
