Art is a necessity for me. Just as vital as oxygen. My paintings often reflect my thoughts during self-reflection. Thoughts of peace.

My favorite type of art to create is surrealist paintings. I like to use symbolism and elements that may look slightly unsettling if you simply look at them but when you think about the meaning, it’s something beautiful or reflective. I find beauty in the odd. I believe to truly enjoy life we must accept it as a whole. You can’t feel joy if you have never felt sorrow and peace is accepting both. I like to encapsulate a bit of that in my art.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in my everyday life. I am easily inspired by things I regularly do. When I admire the leaves falling, the beauty of the night sky or try to befriend animals, poetry instantly flows to my mind and I translate it into visual art.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000 I would invest part of it to fix my financial situation as I am not in a very good spot right now and have 2 children. The other part would go to buying a shed or RV I can turn into a studio to keep creating.
