My primary passion is oil painting, where I focus on capturing the human form and engaging viewers through the careful balance of light, value, and color. This fascination with light extends into my photography, where I look for the same qualities. I also love the hands on aspect of making jewlery. I want to celebrate the beauty in all of earths objects.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the world around me, from the lines of architecture to the quiet breeze in the garden or woods. I love observing how light impacts every surface, finding vibrant color in what others might see as simple whites or blacks.
What would you do with $25,000?I would elevate my work by rebuilding my studio into a highly functional workspace and pursuing oil painting and other art workshops. Beyond my own growth, I feel a deep responsibility to give back; I would create some work for charity auctions and establish a fund to help less fortunate artists begin their own creative journeys.
