My mind has always been a mess of thoughts but when I sit down and create something it brings me peace. There is nothing more satisfying.

I love creating things that feel unique. I don’t want to recreate things that are already out there. I want the message to be clear but also up for interpretation, I love conversation. If someone can look at my pieces and have a discussion on what it means to them then I’m happy. Using posca markers I stipple hundreds/thousands of dots to create images that are colorful and chaotic with subtle messages of grief, acceptance, and finding peace.
Where do you find inspiration? My inspiration comes from the things around me. Music helps & so does poetry but my main inspiration are the things I see every day. Different challenges we all go through. Silently or Not. With my knowledge in American & Japanese traditional tattooing it allows me to take those fundamentals that make those styles unique and mash them with the topic I want the piece to be about. Making it come alive by using dots and bold lines I hope it shows my persistence and the right amount of attitude.
What would you do with $25,000?I’ve been a tattoo artist for going on 9 years now and it’s been a struggle but I love the freedom and the art form. I’m blessed to have made it this far and learned from so many peers that I consider giants. It’s allowed me to do so many things I thought were impossible. That being said I’ve been essentially living tattoo to tattoo saving for rent and larger payments. So while free, it’s not easy. It’d be nice to be able to have some more stability to be able to stress less and create more.
