Where do you find inspiration?Dealing with family struggles like my parents' separation is what first inspired me to pick up a pencil and start making drawings and oil portraits became a coping skill that helped me process my emotions and overcome my hardships.
What would you do with $25,000?I have always come from a low income background, growing up in a border community in Nogales. This money would help me create a better space for my art, right now I'm living in a very small space where it's difficult to paint. It would also allow me to purchase supplies, which are currently out of reach on my budget.
