I create art to hold moments where memory, distance, and perception collide.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I focus on painting cityscapes that resist a single reading-where structure begins to loosen and the image shifts between what is seen and what is sensed.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the places I return to, both in memory and in real life. I use reflection to destabilize what is seen—letting the image slip between structure and sensation, where perception begins to lose its certainty.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to expand the scale of my work and create the conditions to push it further—developing larger pieces and allowing for a more sustained and focused exploration of my practice.
