Art is how I heal, express, and transform pain into something meaningful and alive. It comes from source as a gift and gifts are for giving.

I love so many mediums. I try to explore as many as possible, which include, sketching, drawing, zentangle, pencil, fineline and others. I also carve tikis which allow me to express cultural art, but gives me space for personal development within my tikis. My favorites change from time to time and right now, I'd have to say that painting in acrylics or watercolors would be top picks. But, like i said, that could change at any given moment.
Where do you find inspiration?I live in Hawaii. I'm Hawaiian. I'm a mother. I've had some real life struggles and milestones. I've been blessed to do some traveling and I'm a creative by nature. My inspiration comes from my experiences and my culture and living in paradise.?
What would you do with $25,000?I would create a stable, dedicated space where I can fully commit to my art; something simple, comfortable, and grounded. I would invest in essential materials and tools so I can produce work consistently and at a higher level. Having a space that supports this idea would allow me to move with intention, structure and finally give my art the time and energy it deserves and be able to provide art that not only supports my life, but comes full circle to connect with and uplift others.
