My favorite is Drawing with Graphite. I love all types of art but I always go back to drawing. For me the control of the medium and how much detail I can put into a piece always surprises me. I love with every new piece, I ALWAYS learn more and get better at it.
Where do you find inspiration?My inspiration is when I see something with a lot of detail, contrast and is challenging. Love different textures all in one piece. For example hair, skin, water, metal, wood,fabric can all be a challenge but to have them all in a single piece is a great challenge. It takes just an instant and my inspiration grows into a NEED to try and create it.
What would you do with $25,000?I would like to open a place where artists can have a temporary space to go and work on their drawings. Not a gallery but more of a rent-a-workshop space. They can be alone and doing their own thing or can ask for help or tips from others on how to improve. I also have a daughter who I would love to help in her schooling for photography/film making.
