I would say photography and poetry. While photography sparks something in me that appreciates the authenticity of nature and power of perception, resulting in true gratitude for the beauty of life. Poetry brings a more intimate expression of emotion for me, putting words to pain and passion. Painting and sketching provoke an inner release of raw creation, understanding what lurks in my shadow self and visually portraying this. Music makes my soul feel understood. Art has no limits for me.

I find inspiration in life experiences, good or bad, they spark emotion and passion. Past pain, future hope and current embodiment. My children inspire me daily to be creative and embrace joy. Pain from my past led me to start expressing in a variety of art forms at a young age. Art has been a way for me to process trauma most my life, but also to understand beauty and gratitude. I embrace all aspects of life to find the beauty. I am also especially driven by nature and helping people.

There are so many young people in this world that need a mentor to help them heal and live their best lives despite their challenges. I want to be that person. Working with children to help them unlock their full potential despite circumstances such as traumatic childhoods, special needs or anything that could hurt their mental health and keeping them from being their true selves. I would teach the importance of art for therapy for healing.
