The process of creation is where I find the in between space. I'm known for whimsical art, short response; whimsical (expressionism) art. Long response, I don't think I have made it yet. I'm a bit of a non-conformist. The piece sometimes chooses itself and I'm as much the tool. On occasion I manage a piece that warps time and has form flexibility. Those pieces are always what I stive for, when I'm gone, they will be my favorite.
Where do you find inspiration?Most of my art is a reflection of how I see natural and spiritual places. Inspiration seems like a strange word to describe propulsion of creation. Energy is everything and everywhere, so for me it's more like trying to capture and portray that information. When I do a piece for someone else...a bit different. I do the best I can to develop a concept that is uniquely me and them at the same time.
What would you do with $25,000?The same thing I would do without it. Spend my very short trip on earth making art, promoting myself as an artist, and watering the people around me. Extremely boring, but WORD!
