Making art is my happy place. It drowns out all the noise and chatter in my head, and it's just me and my medium of choice.

Oh gosh. I'd have to say my favorite type of art is photography. I do it almost every day- whether in snapshots or professionally. It's so important to my mental health and general well-being. It lets me capture memories for myself and others for the future which I find so poetic. Photography is balm to my soul.
Where do you find inspiration?A better question for me would be where I don't find inspiration. I took a photo of a broken leaf that had stuck to our car in the rain. Bad photos of my cats. Last day portraits of our beloved dog, Ruby. I went to Japan and I took photos of cherry blossoms, waterfalls and food! I take photos of pretty colors, sunsets, flowers, animals, people. It is an honor and a privilege to photograph life.
What would you do with $25,000?I would buy some newer photography equipment. I might take a trip to photograph the beauty of the USA instead of all the ugly things that have surfaced lately. That would be... neat. Maybe put some work into advertising myself better and paying entry fees to competitions/juried shows.
