Art is the expression of your soul to the world. The creation of it influences through love, war, & generations. It shines in the darkness.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
I strive to mix mediums that you typically don't see together instead of sticking to one. If the art seems superfluous then it means i've done something right for my soul. Such as painting on canvas and incorporating plaster, stitching, gold leaf, flowers, etc. There's no such thing as too much in art, its allowed to breathe. In almost all of my artwork I include some form of inkwork with music. Its a favorite of mine to incorporate words from songs and quotes to inspire others or evoke change.
Where do you find inspiration?Anything and everything. My main source of inspiration comes from lyrics and tunes from music and quotes from movies, books, people, poetry, and more. The moment I listen to a song I almost always want to create something on a canvas or paper to express the fervor the music has swept me up by. Quotes like "Aspire to inspire before we expire" are words that continue to galvanize me into creating as much as I can without limits or boundaries in art.
What would you do with $25,000?Use it to create an art career for myself. To finally have the opportunity to display and share art that inspires others to be the change, test boundaries, look past limits, and take the risks for yourself in a day and age where the internet can feel overwhelming.
