When you're at the point in your creative process where you're really learning what is working and what isn't; the break throughs that can occur can make some of the most interesting pieces. I love when a "test piece" or an "oops" piece turns into a turning point. The art that opens a new wave of creation that you didn't know that you had.
Where do you find inspiration?Plants and the Ocean bring me the most inspirations. Finding natural geometric patterns has always fascinated me, and how there can be organic and geometric shapes found all around us. Finding the balance of where to be more abstract over realism, especially when depicting water, is always a fun challenge.
What would you do with $25,000?I am currently a stay at home mom and I have just started to relaunch my art career after 10 years. This money would help support my family as I start a small Fine Art/Crafting business. Some of this money would also be put into a savings account for my young daughter. We hope it will help her figure out who the person is that she is supposed to be. Hopefully, some of this money could go towards repairs to our 100 year old New England house. A new car would be nice, too! lol
