My purpose is to help others understand and appreciate Earth. Refining stones gives exposure, creating interest and knowledge of existence.

Sculpture. I love the process in it's entirety... the forming of every lash and wrinkle, baking the clay properly. Every stroke I paint with great intention and focus.
Where do you find inspiration?Through Nature. I spend a lot of time in the outdoors prospecting for gems and fossils for my lapidary work. It allows me to be in remote areas of the world and learn about their unique systems of life. I find I learn so much on these adventures and am inspired every step of the path.
What would you do with $25,000?$25,000 would greatly change my life. My yearly income is lower than this sum and I live a very humble existence. I would invest it into my business, Gnarled by Nature and consider buying a small property I could build a workshop on. I would cut gems, prep fossils, and make sculptures for the remainder of my life. It is my dream to make large garden sculptures made from recycled material.
