Art grounds me. It brings me much joy and balance, and helps me stay present in an ever-changing world.

I’m drawn to landscape abstracts on big stretched canvases built from scratch or digital pieces that evoke a sense of place and familiarity. I like capturing the feeling of a space rather than its exact form using color, texture, and movement to create something that feels both grounding and open to interpretation.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in landscapes with their colors and shifts in light. I’m especially drawn to the feeling they create. Calm, nostalgia, and a quiet sense of place holding emotion and memory.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to deepen my practice and create work that fosters calm and connection. I’d also support community-based art workshops as a form of therapy, offering spaces for seniors and individuals navigating trauma to express themselves, reflect, and experience quiet healing through art.
