I love creating art because it lets me reveal hidden systems of desire and control and turn them into something visible, precise, and imposs

I create conceptual video works that explore how modern culture shapes identity through consumption, symbols, and subtle systems of influence. I’m interested in the moment when experience is replaced by recognition when people feel they’ve lived something simply because they’ve seen or named it. My work uses minimal visuals, repetition, and familiar cultural signs to reveal these invisible structures.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in everyday systems we stop noticing shopping, wellness rituals, social media, and the way choices are presented as freedom. I’m drawn to how identity is quietly shaped through habits, aesthetics, and repetition. Small details like receipts, packaging, or trending behaviors become entry points to explore how culture programs perception and desire.
What would you do with $25,000?I would invest it into producing a new body of work developing large-scale installations and video pieces that expand my current research. It would support materials, production, and documentation, as well as allow me to collaborate with fabricators and editors. I’d also use it to present the work internationally, ensuring it reaches curators and institutions where the dialogue can grow.
