I love all different kinds of mediums! I love chalk, water color and acrylic paint and markers the most though! Theme wise, I jump around a lot. I love drawing folksy things. Like Santa Muerte a Mexican folk saint who is very beautiful and scary. She is a complex figure and I love her so much for it!
Where do you find inspiration?I draw inspiration from religion (folk lore included), music and animation. I have done many pieces that include the Ninja Turtles, Avatar The Last Air Bender among many others. I have also found much inspiration through the teachers that I've had through the years. If it weren't for them I wouldn't be where I am now.
What would you do with $25,000?I would use it to help me get through college and jump start my architecture career. I believe that architecture is one of the greatest expressions of art a person can make. Buildings are complex and often made to add to a space, and if you're lucky, the building will be like Frank Lloyd Wright's and will be built with nature in mind. Adding to nature, this is what I want to do!
