I’m looking to create meaningful, expressive artwork that tells a story and connects with people on an emotional level.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My favorite kind of art to create is expressive, story-driven work that blends whimsy with deeper emotional meaning. I’m especially drawn to creating characters and My favorite is often with symbolic quality. I enjoy building visual narratives that explore identity, belief, and transformation, where each detail adds to a larger story. Whether through illustration or mixed media, I’m most fulfilled when my work evokes feeling, curiosity, and a sense of connection,
Where do you find inspiration?I find my inspiration in emotion, memory, and the quiet inner worlds people carry. I’m drawn to the space between reality and imagination where symbolism, storytelling, and feeling intertwine. Personal experiences, relationships, and moments of vulnerability often shape my work, along with a sense of wonder and curiosity about belief, identity, and transformation. I’m also inspired by nature, subtle human expressions, and the idea that even the smallest moments can hold meaning.
What would you do with $25,000?“I’d use it to create art and music scholarships for underprivileged teens giving them not just funding, but a space to express themselves and be seen.”
