I photograph because it turns my feelings and memories into something real, lets me slow down and quietly connects me to others.
You decide who will appear in Artforum Magazine, take home $25,000, and display their work at The Art of Elysium's Salon!
My medium is primarily photography, especially a combination of street, travel, and portrait work. My approach is observational and story-driven, aiming to draw viewers into scenes of ordinary life.
Where do you find inspiration?I find inspiration in the rhythms of everyday life: streets, faces, light and shadow, gestures, and textures.
What would you do with $25,000?With $25,000, I would have the freedom to design a travel-and-photography project. I could pick a country-rich place that suits my people-focused documentary style. I would be able to budget for flights, guide, lodging, and local transport without financial worries so that I could just focus on my project.
